The drive

The drive from Tennessee to Oregon was quite a trek, but in some ways it seemed a lot shorter than what I remembered it being when we moved to Washington to South Carolina years back.

36 hours of seperation.

Salt Lake, Utah.

Salt Pipe, Utah.

Cruised into town Sunday afternoon.  Words can't describe how beautiful it is here.  More to come.

rolling with it

It's been a wild couple of weeks to say the least.  I'm still trying to make sense of it all.

The manner that Dave's been handling this terrible situation with is really an inspiration to me.  Just 48 hours previous we were having a conversation about losing all your material belongings.  It's difficult to see something of this nature happen to such good people as Dave and his step dad Sam.  Rest in piece Marley, Oreo and Ralph.

dodging showers

On the drive out yesterday I figured it was going to be a washout with heavy thunderstorms rolling through the area.  I get about a mile out and all of a sudden everything is dry.  A brief 30 minute shower put down just enough precip to make everything be just right.  This is some of the session that followed.

Tim Lewis was in town from Knoxville.  Good to see that guy.
JCs day started out a little rough with a superman lander 2nd run in.  He quickly got redemtion in a Steven Hamilton shirt.
It was Lil Pat's first trip out too and he left all smiles.

sunshine smiles and the boys

We had a heavy session out at the trails this weekend.  Here's a few pictures from the festivities.
I was really hyped to see JC make it through the main line his first day out riding.

David Romero putting those skateboard skills to use.  Stomping fires out mid train and keeping it moving down the line.

Romero broke out the 450 this weekend and wasn't scared to use it.

T Fred is on a strict healing process from his latest hit to the face.  Drinking beers via straws.

My timing wasn't really doing these tabe 270s by Alex Magallan justice.

I even put the camera down long enough to lay down a couple runs through the roller line.  Photo by T Fred.
