keep it loose

I've been getting settled back into Nashville.  The past few months have been quite the journey, and I'd like to thank everyone who's helped me in any way, shape, or form throughout it.  From giving me a couch to crash on, to telling me what places to check out.  Things didn't exactly pan out as planned, but then again my plan was a loose one at best.

It's bad ass when small towns make skateparks that aren't geared towards little kids.  Carnation is a perfect example of how to do shit right.

hand over fist

Ventured out to Bainbridge Island today.  I learned a valuable lesson about avoiding the ferries if at all possible.

Oregon overflow

I've got a stockpile of pictures from Oregon still so here's a few for now.

great white bite

Rambo got into a scuffle a couple weeks back.  He's healing up quite nicely considering how gnarly the wounds were.  I was planning on taking him to the vet the day after since the bleeding stopped after a few minutes but, he had other ideas.  He proceeded to run off the next morning.  A dog wandering around in the Applegate valley hurt is far from an ideal situation.  He showed back up in the early morning hours the following day and I finally got him into the vet.  At this point he's still limping around on 3 legs religiously.  I get him into the vet, he gets some antibiodics since it can't be stitched up thanks to him running off and not getting him in there in the first 24 hours.  We walk out and he's on all 4s.  He's back to normal now a short time later, making up for lost time.

back to civilization

I touched down in Washington earlier this week.  My plans at this point are to try and move back here.  I have a working computer again now so posts are going to be much more frequent so keep checking back.  I've yet to see a day with no rain since returning to Washington, Southern Oregon's seemingly endless sunshine spells sure did spoil me.

the Oregon trail

I still can't get over how beautiful it is out here.

the view at night from the valley I'm staying in.

Grants Pass' coping, can't wait to ride this place.

The first thing that came to mind when I spotted this hammock was Romero.  Skatepark hammock life.

I've come to the conclusion that there's something in the water in Medford that makes people just not right.
